Ever wonder where the funding comes from for the Symphony Above the Clouds, the amazing concert that has been a huge part of life in the greater Woodland Park community since 1980? Well, it comes from folks just like you – individuals and businesses that value the important part the concert plays in the vitality of summer life in our community.
2025 marks the 45th anniversary of the Symphony Above the Clouds! The admission-free concert will be held on July 4th in Memorial Park in Woodland Park beginning at 5:30 pm with the pre-show opening entertainment. The greater Teller County community will come together once again to hear the beautiful music of the Woodland Park Wind Symphony, culminating in a spectacular rendition of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture! The City of Woodland Park is bringing back the traditional fireworks show to celebrate our Independence Day – weather dependent! It is truly one of the highlights of the Summer here in our mountain community.
Will you help us this year? While this is an admission-free concert, and although the cost of producing the concert in Memorial Park is less than in previous years, there are still many costs associated with producing such an event, to include a warm-up band/entertainment, the Wind Symphony orchestra, sound, lighting, and much more.
